01 / The setting
Halinen, Turku, needed a place for children and families to explore nature and participate within the Urban Biodiversity Parks project.
02 / What we did
Luontopesä combines a play environment built from natural materials, growing beds, an insect hotel fence and meadow vegetation. Design and activities connect nature play, growing and community participation.
03 / Impact
Children and adults can explore plants and natural materials through hands-on activities.
